Sisters of Providence to host ‘Advent Meditations’ in December

Remember and reflect on the coming of Jesus this Advent season with the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana.

Join virtually from the Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin from 7-8 p.m., EST, on Mondays, Dec 2, 9, 16 and 23.

Take an hour each of those December Mondays in restful anticipation to meditate on the hope, peace, joy and love that the birth of Jesus promises. Leaning toward the Light of Jesus’ birth is helpful when nights become longer in the heart of winter.

During the events, enjoy music, imaginative prayer, Lectio and Visio Divina, silence and breathing meditation. Prayers come from a variety of faith traditions to help align your mind, heart and spirit on the greatest gift the world has ever known while returning focus to the true root of the Christmas season – Jesus.

There is no cost to attend the meditations.
