An Inspirational ‘Be Humble’ Day
Six Saint Mother Theodore Guerin quotes on humility
Were you aware that “Be Humble” Day even existed? I was not until a recent web search. The day is February 22.

According to daysoftheyear.com, on Be Humble Day, no one is allowed to boast and no one is allowed to brag about their success.
The point is for all of us to encourage others on this day.
With that in mind, for this year’s Be Humble Day, we offer you all some inspirational quotes from Saint Mother Theodore Guerin:
“Pray, be humble, be charitable, and God’s blessing will be with you.”
– Saint Mother Theodore Guerin
“Humble yourself – that is very good – but do not yield to discouragement.”
– Saint Mother Theodore Guerin
“Be humble, like your Mother (Mary), devoted like her to the interests of God and your neighbor …”
– Saint Mother Theodore Guerin
“As soon as we have sinned, let us humble ourselves, ask pardon of God, and go on our way as before …”
– Saint Mother Theodore Guerin
“Particularly, I admire two virtues rare in our days: A profound humility and immense charity.”
– Saint Mother Theodore Guerin
“Be humble, simple and frank, and you will live in peace with yourselves, and you will be happy.”
– Saint Mother Theodore Guerin

Great blog Jason. Thanks for the words of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin to feast on today.
I so appreciate this mail—–hope to hear more about Mother Theodore.
Yesterday was such a Divine Providence day for me. I have been praying for God to increase my Faith and Trust. I went to a grocery store that I rarely go too, and a young man said, Grandma, I love you—it was my grandson who I haven’t seen for a long time and he and his wife and two children were there too. He was holding our 18th great-grandchild that I haven’t seen Lincoln is only four weeks old It was Divine Providence moment!!!!. God has always taken care of my husband and me even when our one son died (leukemia) Rob was 21yrs old. God has blessed us more then I can count.
We are so lucky to continue to have the wisdom of Saint Mother Theodore, which is germane to any age. Thank you, Jason, for reminding us of that humble wisdom.
