Sister Dawn, your message of hope and optimism rings true and fills my heart! I have been reflecting about what would have happened if the innkeeper had found a corner in the inn where Mary and Joseph might find room. What noise and confusion would they encounter with all the other raucous travelers? In the stable, though the conditions were not ideal, they found quiet and peace. This Advent I am trying to find the quiet and peaceful place to encounter the Christmas miracle…not a place just to “fit it in.” Yes, it is a different year, but Providence has provided for us. Merry Christmas to you and to all the Sisters of Providence!
