Spring
When all that deep down
pregnant life
hidden in winter darkness
breaks through barren ground
bursts through buds
of bushes and branches
extravagant with color
vibrant with energy
accompanied by exquisite
psalm songs
bird choirs perform.
Beauty calling the world once again
to lavish gentleness and new life.

really lovely words and images…….thank you!
Lovely words and your way of expressing yourself always amazes me!
Thank you, Sister Donna, for once again expressing beautifully the heart’s joy in Springtime. Psalms from the bird choir is something I will remember, especially early mornings with the choir so full of praise.
So much elegance in such simplicity, dear Donna. So like Spring. with gratitude, your sister, Paula M
