The Providence journey begins for new Candidate-Associates!
Twenty-one women and men began their journey to become Providence Associates (PA) on Saturday, Oct. 5, at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind. They were joined by Sisters Dawn Tomazewski, general officer, and Diane Mason, director, and Debbie Dillow, PA and assistant director, for Mass and a special blessing in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at 11 a.m.
Prior to Mass, the group was welcomed in Reilly Auditorium in Owens Hall, and spent time getting to know one another. New candidates are from Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio and Texas. “It was a wonderful day of getting to know each other as we prayed together and shared our special stories of what brought us to the Sisters of Providence,” said Debbie.
