A “sampling” of everyday miracles

As director of the shrine, I become the trustee of a wealth of stories of healing, requests for relics, prayer intentions, and auditor of personal miracles all having occurred in the name of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin.  In future months, we will be sending out a revamped e-newsletter to those who love Mother Theodore. There will be various and perhaps unpredictable things in each e-newsletter, including some “miracle stories”.

D01-SpringApril2011In this first edition, I wish to share with you a sampling of what I glean from all over the world.  Giraud who lives “330 miles from Mother Theodore’s house” wishes for a relic. Raul from Florida wants to request prayers for his family. Alice, a Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College alumna who now lives in Colorado, wants to spread devotion in the Rocky Mountains.  Brother Chris wants Mother Theodore’s relic so he can pursue his vocational call in the Philippines. Opara, who is soon to have a new baby wanted Mother Theodore’s relic to protect his child from Nigeria. Kevin from Massachusetts, wishes healing and a divine connection with Mother Theodore to deepen. Then there is Natthawatt from Thailand who cannot wait to receive a relic of this great woman of faith. Now you may be wondering, why? Well that’s what we will talk about in upcoming months.

Let these stories bring you peace and calm, and remind you that every day there are miracles not to be overlooked. Each day we live, God presents us with big and small miracles…whether it’s the birth of a new baby or a miraculous medical cure that was discovered by using God-given minerals and plants. These people, who reach out to me and talk about their every day lives and how the intercession of Mother Theodore has affected them, are daily reminders that this life we live is beautiful, sacred, and miraculous.

Subscribe to our e-newsletter to learn more about the intercessions of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin and hear more from the Director of the Shrine.
