How to apply

Apply by June 30 each year to begin the journey in November. Fill out the form at the bottom of this page or contact interim director of Providence Associates, Debbie Dillow at 317-250-3294 and ddillow@spsmw.org to request an application.

The process

After your application is accepted, you will be assigned a Sister of Providence or Providence Associate companion to journey with you. (You can request your favorite sister or associate or we can choose a good fit for you.) Your candidate year will begin with an orientation day in November.

Over the next year, you and your companion will meet regularly to discuss readings on key aspects of the Sisters of Providence life and mission. Both you and the Congregation discern if this is a good fit. If both decide it is, you will make your first commitment as Providence Associate in mid-October. You commit for one year and may choose to renew this commitment in coming years.
