Biography
Sister Therese Clare Carr was born in Indianapolis to Irish-Catholic parents. She attended Saint Patrick Grade School in Indianapolis.
Sister Therese Clare entered the Congregation in January 1950. She professed final vows in August 1957.
She received a bachelor’s degree in education from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and also has a master’s degree in education from Indiana University in Bloomington.
Of her ministries, she taught at schools in Fort Wayne, Lafayette, Jasper and Indianapolis – all in Indiana – as well as at schools in Chicago and Van Nuys, California.
Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Therese Clare said she was a huge fan of the mini “Heath” Blizzard from Dairy Queen.
