Sister Suzanne Smith

Sister Suzanne was a native of Washington, D.C. Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Sister Suzanne, formerly Sister Louis, entered the Congregation on January 30, 1954. She professed final vows on August 15, 1961.

She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. She also has a master’s degree in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame and has a MBA in Business from Indiana State University.

Sister Suzanne has ministered as a teacher in Indiana, Massachusetts, Florida, New Hampshire, Maryland, Illinois and Washington, D.C. She also ministered as the Coordinator for the Our Lady of Providence Shrine at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods from 2006 to 2013.
