Biography
Sister Regina Therese was born Regina Dolores on Dec. 16, 1921. She died on Feb. 4, 2016. She was 94 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 66 years.
Sister Regina Therese entered the Congregation on July 22, 1949. She professed her first and final vows on Jan. 23, 1952 and 1957, respectively.
She began her teaching ministry of 32 years in Chicago. She then ministered mostly as an English teacher at secondary schools in Indiana and California. She also ministered as a bookkeeper at St. Anthony’s School in Gardena, California.
A former student of hers described Sister Regina Therese as being “the ultimate educator.”
