Biography
Sister Patricia was born Sept. 1, 1930. She died on Sept. 6, 2004. She was 74 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 66 years.
Sister Patricia entered the Congregation on Feb. 2, 1948. She professed first and final vows on Aug. 15, 1950 and 1955, respectively.
Her teaching ministry began at St. Philip Neri, Indianapolis, in 1950. She taught at other schools in Indiana, California and Illinois. After earning a master’s degree from Northern Illinois University, she stayed there to minister for nearly three decades, teaching in the special education field.
Sister Patricia was described as “frequently the instigator of both mischief and fun.”
