Biography
Sister Patricia, formerly Sister Mary Philip, was born in Chicago. Currently, she ministers as a caregiver in Chicago.
Sister Patricia entered the Congregation in 1963, professing first vows in 1966 and final vows in 1973.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and earned her master’s degree in elementary education from Indiana University.
Of her ministries, Sister Patricia has ministered as a teacher for many years, including stops at St. John in Newburgh, Ind., from 1968-76; and Immaculate Heart of Mary in Indianapolis from 1976-80.
She also ministered as a teacher and assistant principal at Immaculate Conception in Chicago from 1983-87. In addition, she was principal at St. Leonard School in Berwyn, Ill., from 1987-89, and principal at Immaculate Conception in Chicago from 1989-94.
