Sister Mary is a native of Danvers, Massachusetts, approximately 20 miles north of Boston.

She entered the Congregation on August 16, 1989, professing first vows in June of 1992 and final vows on July 20, 1996.

Sister Mary has ministered as a teacher and a children’s librarian in a public library in Massachusetts. Sister Mary also served as the director of the Congregation’s Archives Department, while also ministering in Massachusetts, Illinois and Indiana.

Currently, Sister Mary ministers in outreach ministries for the Congregation at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Prior to this, she served as a volunteer at the Vigo County Library in West Terre Haute, Indiana.

She said her favorite music is the “oldies from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.”
