Biography
Sister Mary Patricia was a native of New Albany, Ind. Her final ministry was in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Mary Patricia, formerly Sister Marie Janice, entered the Congregation on Jan. 7, 1942 and professed final vows on Aug. 15, 1949.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education. She also earned a master’s degree in education from Indiana State University and another master’s degree in religious studies from Catholic Spalding University, Louisville, Ky.
She was a teacher for nearly 30 years and worked as a pastoral associate in Chicago and Indiana.
