Biography
Sister Mary Grace, formerly Sister Ann Grace, was born in Asiago, Italy. Currently, she ministers in prayer at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Mary Grace entered the Congregation in 1960, professing first vows in 1963 and final vows in 1968.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish, while earning her master’s degree in Spanish from Ball State University.
Of her ministries, Sister Mary Grace taught Spanish at Mother Theodore Guerin High School in River Grove, Ill., from 1971-73, and taught at various other schools, including stops at Providence-St. Mel in Chicago; Washington Catholic High School in Washington, Ind.; and Immaculata Preparatory in Washington, D.C.
Sister Mary Grace also ministered in gift making and ministry to the sick in Vincennes, Ind., from 1981-87, while also serving in prison ministry to Spanish speaking inmates in Terre Haute from 1992-96. She returned to the Woods in 1999.
