Biography
Sister Mary Catherine, formerly Sister Marie Michele, was born in Indianapolis. Currently, she ministers as a document translator for the immigration office of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Sister Mary Catherine entered the Congregation on Jan. 6, 1953, from St. Philip Neri Parish, Indianapolis. She professed final vows on Aug. 15, 1960.
She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods with a bachelor’s degree in education and also has a master’s degree in special education from Indiana State University. Sister Mary Catherine also has a honorable doctorate of humanities from the University of Indianapolis.
Sister Mary Catherine has ministered in Illinois, California, the country of Peru and Indiana.
