Biography
Sister Margaret Louise was born on Dec. 31, 1923. She died Aug. 2, 2015. She was 91 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 72 years.
Sister Margaret Louise entered the Congregation in 1943. She ministered in schools in California, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland and Florida.
In 2011, Sister Margaret Louise was severely injured in an automobile accident. Her rescuer, EMT Andrew Powers, had been a student of hers. Nonetheless, she suffered a broken neck, broken bones, shattered pelvis and more, enduring long months of therapy.
Sister Ann Paula Pohlman said that Sister Margaret Louise was an optimist and a realist to the very end.
