Sister Loretta Maureen Gansemer

Sister Loretta Maureen was born on May 7, 1930. She died on May 17, 2015. She was 85 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 66 years.

Sister Loretta Maureen entered the Congregation in January 1949.

Sister Loretta Maureen ministered as a teacher in schools in Texas, Illinois, Indiana and in California. For almost a decade, she also ministered as a CCD Coordinator and Villa Coordinator for the Sisters of Social Services Retirement Community in Los Angeles. She also spent time as the Director of the Senior Center at Guerin Woods in Georgetown, Ind., before returning to the Woods.

Sister Loretta Maureen had a deep love for the Eucharist and absolute devotion to Mary.
