Biography
Sister Elizabeth Ann was born Catherine Lucille Flori on Jan. 30, 1926. She died on Sept. 1, 2004. She was 78 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 59 years.
Sister Elizabeth Ann entered the Congregation on July 22, 1945. She professed first and final vows on Jan. 23, 1948 and 1953, respectively.
Her first teaching ministry was in 1948 at St. Mel-Holy Ghost, Chicago. She also taught at schools in Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas and California. In 1986, Sister Elizabeth Ann returned to the Woods to minister as a day and nighttime driver.
She was one of the blue bird monitors at the Woods each year, as she and Sister Claudia Lewis (RIP) had their bluebird box to watch over and report on.
