Biography
Sister Eileen Mary was born Mary Isabel Cunningham on July 5, 1916. She died on May 1, 2005. She was 88 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 66 years.
Sister Eileen Mary entered the Congregation in 1939. She professed first vows on Aug. 15, 1941, and final vows on Jan. 23, 1947.
Before entering the Congregation, Sister Eileen Mary was already a registered nurse. Upon entering, she ministered in the Infirmary before ministering in New Hampshire, Washington, D.C., and St. Louise. She returned to the Woods to minister again in the Infirmary where she served in several capacities, including nurse, head nurse and supervisor.
Sister Eileen retired in 1993.
