Biography

Sister Dorothy, formerly Sister Irene Therese, was born in Chicago. She died Oct. 15, 2020.

Sister Dorothy entered the Congregation on Feb. 2, 1952, from St. Mark Parish, Chicago. She professed final vows on Aug. 15, 1959.

She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in education and also earned a master’s degree in elementary education from Northern Illinois University.

Sister Dorothy ministered in Indiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Illinois.
