Sister Doreen Lai

Sister Doreen was born on December 3, 1947, in Singapore. She entered the Congregation on August 15, 1988, professing first vows on August 22, 1991, and final vows on July 20, 1996.

She has ministered as a high school teacher, as well as a social work case manager, consumer service coordinator and as an office manager. Currently, Sister Doreen ministers as the Associate Director and Office Manager for the Missions Office of the Diocese of San Diego.

Sister Doreen’s favorite food is spicy noodles and Thai curries. She enjoys classical and instrumental music and is a huge fan of dogs, especially beagles.
