Biography
Sister Denise, formerly Sister Jessica, entered the Congregation on September 12, 1963. Currently, she ministers in health care and congregational department. Her previous ministry was as a Donor Relations volunteer in the Mission Advancement Office at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Sister Denise grew up in a Catholic household in Chicago and attended Marywood. She said she felt attracted to religious life “as a means to do something important with my life.”
While ministering as a teacher at many locations, Sister Denise also ministered as the General Superior of the Congregation from 2006 to 20016.
