Biography
Sister Deidre was born Rosada Clements on Oct. 17, 1921. She died on May 15, 2008. She was 86 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 69 years.
Sister Deidre entered the Congregation on Jan. 5, 1939. She professed first and final vows on Aug. 15, 1941 and 1947, respectively.
Sister Deidre began teaching in 1941 at St. Francis Xavier, in Wilmette, Ill. She also ministered in education at other schools in Illinois, as well as schools in Indiana and Washington, D.C. Sister Deidre also ministered in France, teaching the Sisters of Providence of Ruille to speak English. She returned to the Woods in 1993.
Sister Deidre was known to be fun-loving, unpredictable and life-giving. She was described as being unselfish.
