Biography
Sister Christine was a native of Indianapolis. Her final ministry was as a volunteer in senior outreach at St. Joseph Parish in Bradenton, Fla.
Sister Christine entered the Congregation in 1950 from St. Philip Neri in Indianapolis. She professed first vows in 1952 and final vows in 1957.
Sister Christine received a bachelor’s degree in education from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and also has a master’s degree in education administrative supervision from Indiana University.
Her first ministry was as a fourth grade teacher at St. Mel-Holy Ghost in Chicago. In 1965, she ministered as a teacher and principal at St. James in Indianapolis and was also the principal at Middle Central Catholic in Indianapolis from 1969-77.

In Indiana: Teacher, St. Margaret Mary, Terre Haute (1958-61); Teacher, Sacred Heart, Whiting (1961-62); Teacher, St. James, Indianapolis (1962-65); Teacher/Principal, St. James, Indianapolis (1965-69); Principal, Middle Central Catholic, Indianapolis (1969-77); Administrator/Middle School Principal, Central Catholic Education Complex, Indianapolis (1977-78); Infirmary Aide, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods (1982-83); Administration Health Care Facilities, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods (1983-89); Principal, St. Edward School, Lowell (1989-94).
In Washington, D.C.: Principal, Dunblane (1978-82).
In Florida: Principal, St. Joseph Catholic School, Bradenton (1995-2004); Volunteer, Southeastern Guide Dogs, Palmetto and Sarasota (2004-07); Volunteer, Southeastern Guide Dogs, Palmetto (2007-12); Home Visitor, St. Joseph Parish, Bradenton (2007-12); Volunteer/Senior Outreach, St. Joseph Parish, Bradenton (2012-20).
She also ministered as principal at Dunblane in Washington, D.C.; St. Edward School in Lowell; and at St. Joseph Catholic School in Bradenton from 1995-2004 before beginning a ministry in volunteering.
