Sister Catherine, better known as Sister Cathy, entered the Congregation on August 14, 1984. Currently, she ministers as the Director of the Diocesan Office of Child and Youth Protection in the Diocese of San Bernardino.
Sister Cathy was born in a Dairy farm at Westchester, Pennsylvania.
She studied biology in college and had originally wanted to be a medical doctor. However, Sister Cathy said she knew she had “found her spiritual destination upon passing through the gates at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.”
