Biography
Sister Catherine, better known as Sister Cathy, entered the Congregation on August 14, 1984. Her final ministry was in residential services at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Prior to this, she ministered as the Director of the Diocesan Office of Child and Youth Protection in the Diocese of San Bernardino.
Sister Cathy was born in a Dairy farm at Westchester, Pennsylvania.
She studied biology in college and had originally wanted to be a medical doctor. However, Sister Cathy said she knew she had “found her spiritual destination upon passing through the gates at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.”
