Biography
Sister Ann Clement was born Dorothy Veronica Voegerl on Jan. 1, 1928. She died on Oct. 13, 2005. She was 77 years old and had been a Sister of Providence for 61 years.
Sister Ann Clement entered the Congregation in 1944. She professed first vows on July 22, 1944, and final vows on Jan. 23, 1952.
She began a ministry as a cook in the priest’s house at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods in 1947, a ministry she would maintain for 22 years. She also ministered as a cook at Ladywood and St. Agnes, Indianapolis, Marywood (Evanston, Illinois), and Marywood (Anaheim, California). In addition, for 15 years, she ministered in housekeeping and food service at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Indiana.
Sister Ann Clement received her GED 44 years after entering the Congregation.
