Prayer of Thanksgiving

God, we offer you thanksgiving today and every day.
Thank you for all our blessings.
  For food and for loved ones
  For the beauty of your creation and for entrusting it to us
  For the love we have and share
  For the peace we strive to create
  For our blessings and for our struggles, that they may bring us closer to you.
O God, strengthen us to be a blessing to others.
  May we care for those who are suffering and in need
  May we bring your love to all those we meet
  May we be your presence in a world in need of love, mercy and justice
May we hold deep thanksgiving in our hearts not just today, but every day.
