Prayer

Prayer for calling forth women of courage

God we thank you for the brave women who continue to come forward to serve you as Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.

Continue to inspire in the women of today a deep love for you and for all your creation.

Continue to call women to deeper love, deeper community, deeper joy.

Continue to call women to take a risk with the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods —

A risk for greater love, mercy and justice in their lives and in the world,

A risk toward a life of giving and a life of joy, a life of helping and a life of community support,

A life filled with your presence and your guidance for the betterment of all.

Call forward more women of courage to answer your call to be your hands, your feet and your love in our world.
