A Parent’s Prayer to Our Lady of Providence

O Lady of Providence, my mother,
surround the children God entrusted to me
with your loving prayer. May God keep them safe
in body, soul and mind.

Through their struggles and burdens,
their triumphs and joys, stay with them
before God as their loving mother.

Pray for my children each day of their lives
and in the hour of their death
that they might join you in praising our loving God forever.
Amen.

Saint Mother Theodore Guerin founded the Sisters of Providence in 1840.
