Gratitude

A heart full of gratitude comes before you, O Divine.
Grateful for a nation full of hope and desire to heal our divide.
Grateful for family, friends and unknown friends.
Grateful for those who have gone before us, leading the way, creating traditions honored.
Grateful for gifts that have been given and gifts that have been shared.
We hold in our hearts those who are without home that a home may be shared for shelter.
We hold in our hearts those who are without food that sustenance may be provided.
We hold in our hearts those who are ill and unable to be with family and friends. Grant healing to them and peace to their family and friends.
We hold in our hearts those who have died that they may be granted their heavenly reward.
With grateful hearts we bow our heads in thanksgiving.
