Day of the Dead/ Dia de los Muertos Prayer
Prayer

Provident God, Your love brings us to birth, Your providence guides our lives, and by Your promise we return to dust.
Creator of the Universe, in your grace you promise us that those who die still live in Your presence. Their spirits have simply been transformed but have not ended. I pray in gratitude and hope for my family, relatives and friends that have gone before me, and for all the dead known to You alone.
Accompanied with Jesus Christ who died and rose from the dead and now lives and reigns with you in unity with the Holy Spirit. May they rejoice in Your kingdom as you unite us together again this sacred morning to worship you.
