Sister Prom 2019

Ashley Fern, a Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) student, and her classmates, organized a “Sister Prom/Winter Dance” for the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. Sisters and students filled the room with enjoyment and carefree dancing. Sister Donna Butler said “this is my first prom ever” and giggled. She was tickled pink to be at this dance. Thanks to SMWC basketball students Delaney Kendall, Brianna Smith and Regan Hubbard, the sisters felt welcome and joined the students in the middle of the dance floor. White lights and colorful streamers decorated O’Shaughnessy Dining Room for the event.
