Sister of Providence Annual Meeting 2024
The Sisters of Providence and Providence Associates gathered for their annual meeting that began on Friday, June 28, and concluded on Wednesday, July 3. Over this six-day event, there were many activities, including a Green Space Blessing and Sister Leslie Dao’s first vows.

Earth Day 2023
More than 700 people visited Saint Mary-of-the-Woods on April 22 to take part in the Sisters of Providence Earth Day festivities! The event returned this year after a three-year hiatus and offered many activities for both young and old. Here are some photos from the festival!

Sister Leslie Dao enters the novitiate
Sister Leslie Dao is officially a novice with the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods! Sister Leslie entered the novitiate on Aug. 14, 2022 in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. During the next year, Sister Leslie will study Scripture, Congregation and Church history, and develop a deeper connection to God, her community and the world.

St. Joseph Lake blessing
September 14, 2021 the Sisters of Providence gathered with Father Terry Johnson and blessed St. Joseph’s lake. The blessing was followed by a wonderful cookout, games and s’mores for dessert all provided by the Helping Ourselves Meaningfully Engage (HOME) team.

Casey is the Graphic Design & Digital Media Manager for the Sisters of Providence. Prior to that she served ten years in the Air National Guard. Casey graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a degree in Graphic Design.
