Sisters of Providence General Superior Dawn Tomaszewski, White Violet Center for Eco-Justice Director Lorrie Heber and I attended an energizing and inspiring evening at the Vigo County Public Library last night to celebrate Hoosier solutions to our climate crisis. The event was called the Green Lights Celebration.

White Violet Center was selected as a west-central Hoosier Green Light Award recipient by Sustainable Indiana 2016, an Earth Charter Indiana initiative. Also during the ceremony, White Violet Center was inducted into the Bicentennial Green Legacy Hall of Fame.

Ha! It took a 200 birthday year, I guess, Sister Carol. 🙂 It truly is a time to celebrate!
