Sister My Huong Pham celebrating Jubilee

Sister My Huong Pham, OP, is celebrating her Silver Jubilee this year.

Sister My Huong is a native of Bien Hoa, Vietnam. Currently, she ministers in care at Providence Health Care, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana.

She entered the Vietnamese Dominican Sisters on Feb. 2, 1991, and professed final vows on Aug. 7, 1999.

She graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a bachelor’s degree in theology and earned a master’s degree in theology from St. John School of Theology, Collegeville, Minn.

During her time in Houston, Texas, Sister My Huong ministered as a secretary and administrative assistant at Our Lady of Lavang Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.

Sister My Huong officially entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Providence in January 2015 and is in the process of transferring to the Congregation. The process lasts three years.
