Earth Day 041-800Annual Earth Day Celebration

West Central Indiana’s largest and longest-running Earth Day celebration holds in April at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind.. More than 2,000 people from the Wabash Valley area attend this springtime festival featuring food, music, workshops and other family-oriented activities. Lots to learn and do at this jam-packed celebration of Earth. In 2016, the celebration was held celebrating the start of the 20th anniversary year of White Violet Center for Eco-Justice. 2017 Earth Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 which will include Bicycle Blessing. Enjoy a delicious meal made by local chefs using locally grown ingredients at the 4th Annual Harvest Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014.Annual Harvest Celebration

Every October, we invite everyone to celebrate the harvest and enjoy a delicious meal featured products from local growers including meat, beer, and White Violet Center organic vegetables. The guests enjoy live music by local musicians. In 2016, Harvest Celebration BBQ & Hootenanny  took place at the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice garden.
