Tara will also offer alpaca fun facts. \n\n\n\nAfter lunch\, all guests will be able to meet some of our alpacas and have a take-home alpaca craft. \n\n\n\nThe series will take place on Wednesday\, June 24\, Wednesday\, July 29\, and Wednesday\, August 26. DESCRIPTION:Join us for yoga in the pasture with our alpacas and Shannon Hamilton\, Athletic Director at SMWC and certified Yoga Instructor at Common Ground in Terre Haute. This event is part of our collaboration with the Department of Sustainability at Indiana State University to celebrate the Earth (throughout) the month of April. \n\n\n\nThis is a free event but please register in advance. Participants will meet at the White Violet Center Farm Store at 9:45 a.m. and practice yoga for 60 minutes in the pasture among the alpacas. You need to provide your own mat and we encourage you to bring a towel or blanket for underneath your mat as well as your own water bottle. Participants must be 18 years or older. Space is limited. \n\n\n\nThose attending who are participating in our “We are all in this Together” raffle can earn a punch for their punch card to be eligible for our grand prize drawing at the end of the month! No purchase is necessary to participate.

Become a part of the Sisters of Providence volunteer family and join together with a community of mission-driven individuals to make change happen. Together we can support the sisters to spread love\, mercy\, and justice in a world that needs relief and light. \n\n\n\nThe Sisters of Providence need action-oriented people to help in all levels of our organization. We have opportunities for people of all skill sets and physical/developmental needs. We have a place for you to make good things happen in the world around you. No opportunity is too small-you matter to us. You can directly help us make a difference because without our volunteers we wouldn’t be able to live our mission and do what needs to be done. \n\n\n\nPlease join us on Saturday\, October 26\, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. outside our Alpaca Barn for a volunteer mixer. This is a great opportunity if you are curious to find out how you can help us make a difference. Snacks and drinks will be provided. \n\n\n\n*If the weather doesn’t cooperate\, we will move the event indoors to Providence Hall.*
