Filipino Marian Pilgrimage Sept. 9, 2017
On Sept. 9 the Terre Haute Filipino community made a Marian Pilgrimage to the sacred shrines and spaces devoted to Mary at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. The gathering was held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Mary’s apparition in Fátima, Portugal. Enjoy these photos of this beautiful pilgrimage. As a result, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, under the guidance of Archbishop Charles Thompson, declared four pilgrimage sites within the Archdiocese, including the Church of the Immaculate Conception and Shrine of Saint Mother Theodore Guerin at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
