You can’t go wrong when you book your business event or reception in the beautiful O’Shaughnessy Dining Room in Providence Spirituality & Conference Center.
O’Shaughnessy Dining Room was voted Best Reception Hall in the Tribune-Star newspaper’s 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Readers’ Choice contest. Also, Providence Center Sunday Brunch at the Woods by Sodexo was selected by Tribune-Star readers as Best Brunch in the Wabash Valley in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
O’Shaughnessy Dining Room can accommodate up to 450 people for buffets, formal dinners and dances. The large, open room is as perfectly suited for a wedding reception as it is for a business luncheon. A state-of-the-art sound system and portable dance floor are available.
The information below describes the sliding fee scale for O’Shaughnessy Dining Room rental (6 hour block of time) based on food and non-alcoholic beverage catering costs for Saturday events.
- Catering $6,500 and up — Room rental $100
- Catering $6,499-5,500 — Room rental $200
- Catering $5,499-4,500 — Room rental $300
- Catering $4,499-3,500 — Room rental $600
- Catering $3,499-2,500 — Room rental $900
- Catering less than $2,500 — Room rental $1200
*Catering cost excludes taxes, bar and special set-up fees.

Guest count @ 200 with $23.00 per person meal price = $300
The larger your number or the more you are spending per person the lower the facility rental becomes.
Friday and Sunday
Events for these days can still be booked on an hourly basis if the lessee so chooses. This rate is $115 an hour plus taxes and any special set-up fees. Security is charged at $20 per guard per hour.
Monday through Thursday
$100 an hour; then as for Friday and Sunday.
There are three possible configurations for O’Shaughnessy Dining Room: banquet, theatre and classroom. The maximum seating at tables is 450 people.

Visa and MasterCard are accepted as methods of payment.
A deposit of $400.00 is required within 30 days of receiving your contract.
There is also a Certificate of Insurance required at a fee of $20.00.
Security service is required for groups of 100 or more or for groups serving alcoholic beverages. A second guard is required for groups of 250. The security fee is $20.00 per hour per guard.
