Thanks for posting Casey’s photos, Jason. And Casey, thanks for shadowing us throughout that eventful day at the WWII Memorial, the Vietnam Wall & sculpture and Arlington National Cemetery with the Tomb of the Unknown. You captured some special moments. It was a beautiful Spring day in DC with lots of tourists stopping to thank Mike and his veteran companions for their service.

Thanks, too, to Maureen Dickinson and S. Jeanne Hagelskamp for your behind the scenes interest and support of this venture.

These pictures are such a treasure for us as we imagine how both Jodi and Mike were making memories. Thanks to all who made this possible, and especially to Casey. We all get to be a small part of the event due to Casey’s many photos.

I also enjoyed looking at your photos. My husband is also a veteran, and we will soon be traveling to Arlington for the internment of his brother and sister-in-law, also veterans. We owe so very much to all our veterans, all the way back to 1776, for the sacrifices they and their families made for all of us. Thank you again for sharing. I’m happy for you both that you could make the trip.
