2009 Rite of Commitment

Nov. 7, 2009, was a glorious day for 23 Providence Candidate-Associates who made their commitments as associates in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The beautiful day filled each candidate as well as the church with energy and excitement. The only missing pieces were Providence Associate Director Sister Mary Alice Zander and Providence Candidate-Associate Sharon Medicis Michaud. Both women were unable to attend because of health challenges.

Sister Diane Mason, Providence Associate assistant director, admirably filled the leadership role and welcomed the new associates as well as the 37 Providence Associates who renewed their commitments.

General Superior Sister Denise Wilkinson presented the reflection. Providence Associate Father Daniel Hopcus presided over the Eucharistic Liturgy.
