SUMMARY:Alpaca Yoga
DESCRIPTION:Join the staff of White Violet Center for Eco-Justice (WVC)\, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods\, Indiana\, and others as they host the upcoming Alpaca Yoga\, scheduled to take place from 11 a.m.-noon\, on Sunday\, September 27. \n\n\n\nShannon Hamilton with some of our alpacas!\n\n\n\nShannon Hamilton\, Athletic Trainer for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and certified Yoga Instructor at Common Ground in Terre Haute\, will lead this unique experience along with the alpacas in the alpaca pasture. \n\n\n\nParticipants must be 18-years-old or older to take part and space is limited. Please bring your own mat and water bottle. We encourage you to also bring a towel or blanket to place underneath your mat! \n\n\n\nAttendees are asked to arrive at 10:45 a.m.\, and meet at the White Violet Center Farm Store. From there\, you’ll walk to the female alpaca pasture for the one-hour long exercise. \n\n\n\nCost is $15 per person or $5 for students. The registration deadline is Friday\, September 25 \n\n\n\nRegister online or by calling 812-535-2946 or emailing mwimsett@spsmw.org.
