Sisters to celebrate Fall Equinox

WVC-15yrsJoin the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 22, for a fall Equinox Celebration.

The event will take place at White Violet Center for Eco-Justice (WVC), a ministry of the Sisters of Providence.

“Each season provides its own character and its own opportunity for reflection, for strength and for change,” WVC director Lorrie Heber said. “The Fall Equinox Celebration is a celebration of the season through music, readings, sharing and reflection. It’s a chance to reconnect with Earth by acknowledging the passion of the time and the changing of the seasons.”

Refreshments will be available, and there is no cost to attend.
