Art and Soul Creation Guild to meet Dec. 2-3

The December meeting of the Art & Soul Creation Guild is scheduled for Dec. 2-3.

The Dec. 2 session will take place from 9:30 a.m.-noon, in the Foley Room at Providence Spirituality & Conference Center. The Dec. 3 session will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in the Havlik Center at Providence Hall. The Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, are sponsors of this Guild.

Sister Rosemary Schmalz is the guild’s facilitator. Each session begins with a short exercise for the purpose of stirring up one’s creative juices. This will be followed by time for members to work in whatever direction they feel led to go. Participants will be guided in seeing how their practice of art can help them develop a more contemplative stance in their lives.

The Guild’s purpose is to offer fledgling and experienced artists the opportunity to create art together. To attend guild meetings, one must be a member.
