Ministry Manager
The Sisters of Providence are seeking a highly organized and mission-driven Ministry Manager to oversee daily operations and support the planning and coordination of programs, workshops, retreats, and tours at Ministry of the Woods. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, a heart for service, and a passion for hospitality and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling for events, retreats, and workshops
- Manage program registration, room reservations, and internal communications
- Supervise front desk operations and hospitality team
- Serve as the point of contact for program inquiries via phone and email
- Collaborate with departments (security, food service, facilities, IT) to ensure event success
- Track attendance, maintain reports, and handle basic financial duties (invoices, donations, payments)
- Ensure sacred spaces and meeting areas are prepared and maintained
- Occasionally assist with or lead tours and visitor experiences
- Maintain office supplies and equipment
Qualifications:
- 3-plus years of administrative, event coordination, or customer service experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
- Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and walk a large campus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school diploma or GED required
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, primarily weekdays
- Some evenings, weekends, and holidays required based on event needs
