Director of Programs and Sacred Spaces

The Sisters of Providence seek a mission-driven Director of Programs and Sacred Spaces to lead and coordinate spiritual, educational, and community-based programming through the Ministry of the Woods. This role includes oversight of retreats, workshops, sacred space tours, and events focused on spirituality, eco-justice, sustainability, wellness, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage programs, retreats, tours, and workshops
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and presenter engagement
• Supervise program support staff and docents
• Monitor registration, track program data, and compile impact reports
• Partner with advancement and retail teams for promotion and alignment
• Help manage and track program budgets and expenses
• Collaborate with ministry partners to ensure mission alignment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in program planning, event coordination, or nonprofit leadership
• Knowledge of theology, spirituality, eco-justice, or related fields a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual program tools
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, walk long distances, and work flexible hours including some weekends
