SUMMARY:Booch 'n' Blooms
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the beauty of our flower field and learn how to make a floral arrangement while sipping on specialty kombucha from Ferm Fresh as White Violet Center for Eco-Justice\, a ministry of the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods\, Indiana\, hosts “Booch ‘n’ Blooms!” \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event will take place from 6:30-9 p.m.\, on Saturday\, July 18\, at the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice (WVC) flower field. \n\n\n\nThe evening will begin with an “amuse booch” hour\, a kombucha tasting and tour of the garden before the floral lesson begins. \n\n\n\nParticipants will receive a tutorial from hosts Candace Minster\, WVC flower and fiber arts manager\, and Tara Elmore\, WVC outreach coordinator\, on how to harvest flowers\, a chance to cut some blooms and then a floral arrangement demonstration before making their own take-home arrangements. \n\n\n\nEach registration includes Ferm Fresh kombucha\, instruction and one specialty vase to take home as well as the flowers! \n\n\n\nThere is a maximum of 15 registration openings and the registration deadline is Friday\, July 17. \n\n\n\nCost to attend the program is $65.
