DESCRIPTION:Note: tickets for the Breakfast and Lunch are now sold out.\n\n\n\nJoin us for a joyful Easter Sunday in the beautiful and historic O’Shaughnessy Dining Hall! \n\n\n\nGather with loved ones for breakfast and enjoy a delicious Easter buffet that’s perfect for the whole family. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe breakfast menu will include honey glazed ham\, bacon\, scrambled eggs\, hash brown casserole\, biscuits and gravy\, assorted muffins and pastries\, warm cinnamon rolls\, fruit salad and a waffle station\, which will include toppings\, berry toppings\, whipped cream and butter. \n\n\n\nSeating for the breakfast will begin at 9:30 a.m. \n\n\n\nCost for adults is $30 while cost for children 10 and under is $15. Children 2 and under will be admitted free. \n\n\n\nAnd we welcome you to join us for our Easter Mass\, scheduled to take place at 11 a.m.\, directly after our Breakfast seating\, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. \n\n\n\nAdditional tickets have just been released and the deadline to purchase has been extended to Monday\, March 30. \n\n\n\nFor more information\, call 812-535-2946 or email lrobinette@spsmw.org.

DESCRIPTION:Earth Day Program 2026\n\n\n\nYou and the family are invited to the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice and Sisters of Providence annual Earth Day Festival at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods! Immerse yourself in nature at our beautiful Woods while enjoying many different activities. There’s something for everyone from nature shows and earth-related craft activities for the kids\, to spinning\, weaving and felting demonstrations and visits with the alpacas that provide the fiber. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBe sure to bring your refillable water bottles for our free and eco-friendly water station. Our Providence Community will be hosting their popular bake sale with homemade baked goods of all kinds! \n\n\n\nThe festival begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is located 10 minutes northwest of downtown Terre Haute\, Indiana. \n\n\n\nWe will have entertainment like live music\, wildlife presentations\, woodcarving demonstrations and demonstrations on spinning and weaving. Food vendors will be available to purchase snacks\, beverages\, and meals – there will be something for all ages and dietary needs. We will also have vendors and educational exhibitors on hand for earth-friendly shopping and to expand your knowledge of how we can be better stewards of our planet. \n\n\n\nThose interested in volunteering for the event can sign up here. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA special thank you to this year’s sponsor\, Ranger Power LLC.

SUMMARY:Celebrating 20 Years of Sainthood!
DESCRIPTION:Rooted in Her Legacy\, Continuing the Story\n\n\n\nTwenty years after the canonization of Mother Theodore Guerin\, we are rooted in her legacy and invited to continue her story in our own time. \n\n\n\nPersons of all faith traditions are invited to join the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods\, Indiana\, for a communal pilgrimage marking the 20th anniversary of the canonization of Mother Theodore Guerin\, on Sunday\, October 11. \n\n\n\nThe late Pope Benedict XVI processes to the altar during the Mass of Canonization Oct. 15\, 2006.\n\n\n\nA pilgrimage is scheduled for 9:30-10:30 a.m.\, with Mass set for 11 a.m.\, in the Church of the Immaculate Conception at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods. \n\n\n\nGrounded in the theme “Rooted in Her Legacy; Continuing the Story\,” this prayerful journey invites all to reflect on how her life of faith\, courage and love continues to unfold today. \n\n\n\nAs all walk together\, all will consider how her canonization is not only a moment to remember\, but an invitation to carry her spirit forward in their own lives. \n\n\n\nThe pilgrimage will conclude in time to enter into Mass as one community\, followed by a shared picnic lunch that extends the time of celebration. \n\n\n\nRSVPs will be requested for the celebration. More information on the celebration will be made available soon.
